SketchUp for working area and volumes at final stages in Primary Education

One alternative to Geogebra for working with geometrical bodies in three dimensions seems to be SketchUp. The many possibilities that this program offers to work Geometry in classroom go from designing simple 2D figures in the space to design your own house. The teacher, as a literated person, should be able to master the content that resides in the program till the level required in his/her lessons, and take advantage of the possibilities for motivation that ICT bring about.
The program is suitable enough for third grade, and with some training and tutorials on YouTube the results are promising. You can either work with areas, volumes, perimetres, translations, rotations and many other content work at Primary Education. You only need to know how to approach to it.
